Roku vs. Amazon: Roku is launching an a la carte TV subscription service thatwill compete directlywith Amazon Channels.

1) Amazon Channels — $375M
2) Roku platform (primarily advertising) — $351M
Why this matters: Roku has a rapidly growing advertising business (↑ 74% YoY) and this will offer more inventory from any services that offer advertising while also making money from the subscriptions themselves.
